On se rassemble means we gather, it is basically about leaving the rest of the week behind and gathering with friends through apéro or what we call Happy Hour in the US. I admire the french culture of being around friends and the commune with food and drink. As an American, we tend to have the mindset of overwork and no rest = success. The french live more of a balanced lifestyle, and for that I appreciate their influence on my own life. I haven't shared on my socials, but I was recently given a definitive diagnosis of Behçets disease with neuro-inflammatory involvement. It has been a very challenging 2 years and it's caused me to revaluate my lifestyle and even professional goals. I have been using my lyricism as a way to keep myself positive along the way.
